About Puffiin - In foster care in Reservoir
In the quiet corners of the home, where sunlight pools in warm puddles and shadows stretch like lazy panthers, a small creature begins his daily expedition. His name is Puffin.
Watch closely as he trots past, tail aloft like a parade flag. Curious by nature and powered by what seems to be an endless supply of internal fireworks, Puffin approaches the world with the bold enthusiasm of a young explorer who suspects every cupboard hides a jungle and every shoelace is a rare species of wriggling worm.
Here, we observe Puffin engaging in one of his most cherished rituals. With great ceremony, he lifts his favourite toy, clamped proudly in his jaws, and carries it to a new location. Why? Scientists may never know. Puffin certainly does.
He adores the company of other cats. In fact, playtime with friends is his preferred way to greet the morning, the afternoon and, frankly, any hour that dares to exist. Wrestling, chasey, tag-you’re-it… Puffin’s athletic range is broad. His social skills, impeccable.
Now, a rare sight: Puffin approaches water. Some cats fear the splash, but not this bold adventurer. With the delighted curiosity of a naturalist studying a river for the first time, he paws, splatters, and wades through whatever bowl, bath, or puddle he can find.
Observe his dedication to environmental caretaking. A cardboard box appears. Puffin descends. With the fierce commitment of a creature determined to return matter to the earth, he chews and shreds until the cardboard has been thoroughly… processed. A true recycler at heart.
Of course, every great explorer has a roguish streak. Puffin’s includes the theft of scrunchies, bath plugs, sponges and any object not nailed down. Pots may fall. Water bowls may topple. Toys mysteriously vanish, later discovered tucked in shoes or bags like secret treasures cached by a tiny archaeologist.
Yet, as night falls, an astonishing transformation occurs. The whirlwind softens. The wildcat becomes the warmcat. Puffin curls at the foot of the bed, a gentle guardian of slumber, or climbs into waiting arms to be held like a baby. He is affectionate, devoted and always nearby, watching, learning, simply wanting to be part of whatever his human is doing.
For Puffin, life is richer with companions. His energetic heart and sociable nature mean he truly thrives in a home with other playful cats. He’d be especially delighted to stay with his mother, Pigeon. Gentle children are fine company; dogs remain untested territory.
Healthy, friendly, endlessly entertaining, Puffin is ready for his next chapter. And to the household he joins, he will bring wonder, comedy, and the charming chaos of a creature who believes the whole world is alive and ready for adventure.
