About Tommy
Meet Tommy!
đ Personality
Tommy is a classic "independent spirit" kind of cat . Many cats fall into that category-they enjoy the comfort of being around their humans but don't necessarily crave constant affection. Instead, they set the rules for when and how they want attention.
đŸ Here are a few things that usually suit cats like Tommy:
- Respecting boundaries: Let him come to you rather than seeking him out for cuddles.
- Creating cozy spots: Cats who like to laze around often appreciate soft beds, sunny windowsills, or even a perch where they can watch the world go by.
- Interactive play on his terms: Wand toys or puzzle feeders can give him stimulation without forcing closeness.
- Gentle pats only when invited: If he leans in or flops nearby, that's his way of saying "okay, now's the time."
It's actually a lovely balance-he enjoys your presence without being clingy, which makes his moments of affection feel extra special.
đż My Needs
In my previous home, I was indoors only & craved safe access to an outdoor enclosure. This gives me:
Freedom to explore nature without risk
Mental stimulation from sights, sounds, and fresh air
A healthy balance of indoor comfort and outdoor adventure
đĄ Ideal Home
I'll thrive in a home that can provide:
A secure outdoor catio or enclosed garden space
A calm environment
Tommy is not tolerant of other dogs or cats.
He has lived with children aged 9-15yo. However, due to his personality we feel someone without children would be be suitable as he does not like close handling.
