Meet Connie Coconut, the delightful Maltese with a personality as charming as her unique name. Born on June 22, 2025, this dainty girl weighs in at just under 5 kg, but don't let her size fool you—she's full of heart and spirit. Desexed, chipped, vaccinated, and wormed, Connie is all ready to join her new family, bringing with her an abundance of love and tail wags.
Connie is a social butterfly, likely to get along with both cats and dogs, making her a wonderful addition to households with existing furry friends. Her friendly and gentle demeanor makes her great with older, calm children who understand the gentle nature of small dogs. She's still mastering the art of house training, but with patience and positive reinforcement, she's sure to succeed. Her inquisitive nature and intelligent little eyes reveal a dog eager to learn and please.
As an indoor dog, Connie is looking for a home with a normal, secure fence to keep her safe during her outdoor adventures. She's happiest when she's surrounded by her loved ones, whether it's cozying up on the couch for a series binge or romping around the garden on a sunny day. Positioned in Red Hill, Connie is eagerly awaiting her new family who will cherish her playful spirit and reciprocate the immense love she has to offer.
With an adoption fee of $1200, Connie Coconut is ready to share her affection, joy, and loyalty with a family that values her gentle soul and endearing quirks. So, if you're looking to enrich your life with a loving companion who will bring joy and warmth to your home, Connie Coconut may be just the perfect match!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee (per dog) . This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
