Blanche

Blanche is funny, loving, bold, and outrageously cute. She thrives on activity, attention, and being included in your life. If you’re looking for a dog to share your adventures, make you laugh every day, and then sidle up for a cuddle in the evenings, Blanche could be your perfect match.

As a young greyhound, Blanche is full of enthusiasm and curiosity. She’s friendly and social, and loves meeting new people when she’s out and about. She’s confident in busy environments—cafés, shops, streets, beaches, dog parks, city streets—you name it, she’s happy to be there with you.

While many greyhounds are famous for their love of all-day lounging, Blanche has a more adventurous spirit. She loves getting out and about and being part of the action... though once the fun is done, she’s more than happy to enjoy a big, well-earned snooze.

She loves play-breaks during the day and keeping her foster carer company while she works from home! Blanche is also comfortable being home alone several days a week.

The beach is one of her favourite places, especially when there are waves to splash in. A backyard would be ideal so she can run, play, and burn off some of her joyful energy.

Her curious, clever nature means she enjoys exploring her environment—sometimes by “adopting” household items into her personal collection or investigating delicious smells on kitchen benches. A puppy-proofed home will help her curiosity shine in all the right ways.

Blanche would love an active home—whether that’s a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids (12+ years) —who can give her two walks a day and plenty of time together.

She’ll do best with someone who has greyhound experience and enjoys ongoing training and enrichment. She’s happiest as the only dog for now so she can have both fun and quiet downtime. And like most greyhounds, she’s looking for a home without cats or small animals.
