Snoopy is a gorgeous black and tan dachshund who is ready to find his forever family. At just 1 year old, he’s the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and sweet affection. His foster carer describes him as gentle, loyal, and loving — a little dog with a very big heart.

Snoopy currently lives in foster care with multiple dogs (including other dachshunds) and would absolutely adore having a friendly sausage dog or two as companions. He’s not reactive to cats, though birds in cages do catch his eye — they move, so that’s exciting!

He walks beautifully on lead, travels well in the car, and is both crate trained and a certified snuggler. Snoopy is house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is just as happy snoozing inside as he is spending time outdoors with canine friends for company.

Still very much a young boy, Snoopy loves to play and can play hard. He’s working on his manners with older dogs and learning about personal space — typical puppy behaviour. He has no food or toy aggression and is great with children and all people, though he may be a little shy at first.
