About Cooper
🐾 Meet Cooper — Small Pup, Big Personality! 🐾
Cooper is a 13 week old Spoodle [Cocker Spaniel x Poodle] with a heart full of love, springs in his paws, and exactly two modes:
✨ zooming with joy or 😴 completely melted into a nap.
Cooper came into our care through a private surrender due to allergies, and while that chapter closed, his next adventure is just beginning — hopefully with you!
🐶 Training & House Habits
Cooper is doing amazingly for such a young pup. He’s about 85% toilet trained (pretty impressive!), though like all babies, he’s still learning and may have the occasional accident.
He hasn’t mastered the doggy door yet… but add encouragement and one or two treats and he’ll have that figured out in no time.
Crate trained? Not yet — but he is bed trained and sleeps happily cuddled up where he belongs 😉
⚡ Energy & Chatty Levels
Cooper lives life at full volume (in the best way). He’s energetic, bouncy, and playful… then suddenly asleep wherever he lands.
He’s quite the talker and loves to chat while playing or asking for attention, happily telling you all about how great life is.
🐕 Social Butterfly
Kids? ✅ Yes — Cooper loves them.
Other dogs? ✅ Absolutely! All shapes and sizes.
He does have classic puppy enthusiasm, so smaller dogs may need patience while he learns polite play — which he’s improving on every day.
He adores his humans and enjoys being their little shadow, but he would thrive with another friendly dog who will play with him, teach him the ropes, and also be happy letting Cooper do his own thing when needed.
Cats haven’t been tested, but guinea pigs earned no interest. Magpies, however? ✨Highly suspicious✨ and definitely chase-worthy.
🏡 Daily Life with Cooper
🛏 Sleeps: In the bed
📍 Favourite spot: Tucked between someone’s feet
🐾 Walks: Yes! Short puppy walks, full of exciting distractions
🐕 Lead skills: Great for his age — easily distracted by crunchy leaves, smells, birds… basically the entire world, but comes along happily with encouragement
Personality & Fun Facts
Cooper is confident, affectionate, and ridiculously charming.
He loves:
• Cuddles
• Tug-of-war
• Hanging out with his people
• “Helping” water the garden by biting the hose stream 💦
His quirks include squeezing into very small spaces, especially under the coffee table or curiously near the open dishwasher — because why wouldn’t that be a comfy nook?
✂️ Grooming
Yes, Cooper will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
🌟 Final Word
Cooper is a smart, eager-to-learn, food-motivated little superstar who will flourish with love, guidance, and consistency. He’s the kind of puppy who will grow into an incredible companion — loyal, playful, and completely devoted to his people.
If you’re ready for puppy kisses, laughter, and a whole lot of love, Cooper might just be your perfect match 🐶💙

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
