About Amelia - In foster care in Templestowe
Meet Our Independent Little Lady 🐾
This beautiful girl has had a very rough start to life, which has left her understandably cautious around people. After five months in foster care, she’s made gentle progress but is still learning that humans can be trusted.
She isn’t comfortable with being touched or handled just yet, but she shows her affection in her own quiet ways. She enjoys being near her people, happily spending time in the same room, following you around, and keeping you company from a safe distance. She also loves to play, especially when she can chase toys and have fun on her own terms.
What she does truly love is the company of other cats. She would thrive in a home with a confident feline friend to help her feel safe. She especially adores her affectionate brother Martin and has also done wonderfully alongside an adult foster cat; taking comfort, confidence, and companionship from them.
She’s looking for a calm, patient home that will respect her boundaries and allow her to blossom at her own pace. With time, love, and understanding, she will continue to grow, but she’ll always need a family who appreciates her gentle, independent nature.
If you have a kind heart, a quiet home, and a friendly feline companion, she could be the perfect addition to your family 💛
