Dawne

Dawne is a gentle, shy-at-first cat who has slowly blossomed into a loving and affectionate companion in her foster home. She takes time to trust new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. She’s especially fond of tummy rubs, head bunts, and simply being close to her humans—often choosing to lie wherever you are and occasionally curling up in bed with her foster carers.

She gets along wonderfully with other cats and would do well in a calm home with patient adopters. Dawne is mostly a quiet girl, though she sometimes greets the morning with a soft, charming squawk. Her gentle nature makes her an easy companion to live with, and her affection feels all the more special because it’s so earned.

Playtime is one of her joys, and ping pong balls are her absolute favorite. Outside of play, she loves to snooze in different cozy spots and quietly observe the home around her. She’s also very food-motivated and not at all fussy with meals, which makes feeding time simple and fun.
