About Sheeba
Meet Sheeba - Your New Best Friend!
Sheeba is a stunning 3-year-old Ridgeback mix with a heart full of love and loyalty.
This gorgeous girl has recently come into BARC care with her mate Norman, and while she'd be thrilled to find a home with him, Sheeba is just as happy to start her next chapter solo.
What makes Sheeba special?
Dog Social: She's friendly and gets along well with other dogs, making her a great fit for homes with or without canine companions.
People Lover: Sheeba adores meeting new people and will happily introduce herself to everyone she encounters on her walks.
Calm & Clever: With her gentle nature and sharp mind, Sheeba embodies all the wonderful traits of her breed-loyal, affectionate, and eager to please.
Active & Fun: A real "go-get-'em" girl, she loves adventures and will be your perfect walking buddy.
Sheeba is available to adopt NOW and will be ready to leave the shelter following her desexing surgery (date TBC).
She comes to you:
✔ Fully vetted

Plus, your adoption includes ongoing support from BARC and FREE access to our Petcademy Behavioural Services, a 24/7 resource to help your new family member settle in seamlessly.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
