About Valko (67159)
Valko is a young German shepherd x kelpie who came to Gaws as a skinny confused stray. At approximately 9 months of age this boy had some more filling out to do and currently weighs 21kgs. His breed is a mix of intelligence and high energy, he is looking for an owner willing to fulfil his drive whilst using his brain to keep him engaged as he learns to navigate the big wide world. Valko has had a stint in foster care residing with another female high energy dog who has taught him respect of toys and boundaries- with her help he has gained confidence but still shows insecure moments when she is not by his side- meaning outings and positive reinforcement will greatly benefit him as he grows. Valko is crate trained and is still working on his house manners and toilet training. Valko thoroughly enjoys splashing in water and mud puddles- he has an enthusiasm for adventure and the great outdoors- he has a tends to become destructive if he is bored as any young pup will inevitably be. Valko may suit living with another adult dog who is tolerant of a young working mix breed, he is not suited to living with small animals and requires fine tuning of his basic skills. If Valko sounds like you perfect match then please apply today.
