About Lucy
Lucy will need to begin in a small launch room and be given time to settle before exploring the rest of the home, as she can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces. A patient, understanding adopter is essential-someone who recognises that she will be timid in a new environment and may take a little while to show her true self.
Teens or older children who can read basic cat body language and understand when to give her space are recommended. Lucy would not cope well with a dog in the home and should remain indoors only.
When she first arrived in care, Lucy was very overwhelmed, but she is slowly coming out of her shell. With gentle attention, she quickly softens, leaning in, rolling onto her side for pats. She loves cheek and neck scratches and responds beautifully to kind, calm handling.
Lucy and her best friend Borat come as a bonded pair and must be adopted together-they have never been apart. With patience, affection, and a quiet environment, both will flourish into loving companions.
