Meet Jewell, truly living up to her name as a rare gem in the cat world. Jewell, a lovely young feline. Jewell has raised a loving family of five kittens and now she's ready to find a home where she can shine.
Jewell's calm nature is captivating. She loves nothing more than a gentle scratch around her ears or a scratch post nearby on which she can warm up her claws. Jewell is a quiet companion making her the perfect cat for a peaceful household.
Jewell is starting to discover her playful and joyous side, Whether she's swatting at a toy or curiously exploring her surroundings, you'll see a sparkle in her eye that hints at her hidden potential.

Jewell is ready for the next chapter in her life, where she can not only continue to shower affection but also receive the same in return. As of 1st August 2025, our adoption fees will be adjusted to help cover rising vet and care costs. The new fees are as follows:
Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
Change of ownership is included in the adoption fee.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us care for and rehome the many cats and kittens that come through our rescue.
All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.

Adoption details
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
2. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we accept cash bank transfer or Pay ID.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
