Hiii, I'm Freya! I'm a sweet, social and oh so smart Husky looking for a new family that is just as fabulous as I am. 💕

The vets here at AWLQ are currently treating me for Heartworm, they're taking really good care of me but I would much rather rest and recover in a proper home! It's important that I stay nice and calm, keeping my heart rate low - so even if I beg you to run around the backyard or play fetch, you have to promise me that you won't let me! Don't worry, we'll make up for lost time when I'm all better. ✨

I absolutely love other dogs, especially ones that are goofy and playful like me, unfortunately I'm not allowed to get too excited while I'm receiving treatment so it would be best for me to be the only dog at home. Maybe once I'm all recovered, you can come back to the shelter and adopt me a friend! 🐾
