Hello I’m Sandy,
I’m a handsome, loving boy and will take all the pats and “good boys”coming my way, with lots of joy and enthusiasm.

I actively seek out my humans company, to play and snuggle with. (I have not met any little humans yet)
I’m particularly a snuggly boy at night, while we watch TV together.

Even though I’m a large boy, I’m extremely gentle in nature, but still a bit “puppy”clumsy.

I’m a medium energy dog, after a walk/play, I will keep myself busy and have a sleep when nothing else is happening.

I’m crate trained and often will take myself in for a sleep.

I love to chase a ball/toy and always bring it back for more and I’m starting to learn that tug of war is good fun.

I get on well with other dogs, medium and large, young and old. I really love romping with my Labrador friend, it’s so much fun. I have not seen a cat so not sure what they are. I ignore the horses and pet birds.

I sleep through the night and I use the doggy dog to go out and toilet.
I’m a quick learner and willing to please, if a little stubborn.
Training treats are my fav, I can sit, drop and stay (for a little while) and I’m learning to recall, I’ll even shake your hand.

I love putting my harness on and going for walks, but I’m still learning that the world’s not a scary place, my foster mum is happy with my progress and says it’s just practice.

I will be a loving and loyal friend and when you come home, I’ll be the first to greet you at the door, with a toy in mouth and a cheeky grin.
