About Kris
Kris – the gentle ginger elf
📍 Located in Perth
From our festive litter, Kris has grown up in loving foster care where his personality is unfolding more each day. Being in a home environment means we already understand his needs, his pace and what helps him feel secure.
Kris is a playful little adventurer who enjoys exploring and joining in, but he does like a little time to warm up when meeting new people. Once he feels comfortable, his gentle and thoughtful nature really shines through. He is happiest when he can take things at his own pace, checking in, then rejoining the fun when he is ready.
Kris MUST have another dog in the home. A friendly canine companion helps him feel confident, settled and ready to enjoy everyday life. He takes comfort from having a playmate and learns best alongside another dog.
Kris is currently in foster care with a caring family, which means he can be met easily once an adoption application is submitted. We do not have a shelter you can visit, but fostering allows us to truly know each dog and make thoughtful matches. Meet and greets can be arranged to ensure Kris and his future family are a good fit.
If you already have a friendly dog and are looking to add a gentle, playful companion to your household, Kris may be just the right match.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
