About Diablo
Meet Diablo, a classic Shetland pony with a big personality packed into a very small (and very round) 10hh body. True to his name, he's got a cheeky streak a mile wide and a clever little mind that keeps everyone on their toes.
Diablo is the kind of pony who loves attention and firmly believes that all pockets should contain snacks but as he has a history of laminitis, he must go to a home who understands how to manage laminitic ponies. Grass restrictions, careful feeding, and appropriate exercise are essential.
He would be ideal for an experienced adult and is not suitable as a childs pony.
He is bold, funny, and absolutely unforgettable, Diablo would be wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a pony with personality.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
