Her Royal Highness, Princess Helena has arrived and is seeking her very own kingdom to rule!”
Helena is 10 weeks old and living life to the fullest. This is Helena’s world and we’re just existing in it. She is a natural leader in that her siblings (for better or for worse) follow her everywhere. From day dot she’s been very confident & adventurous. Her favourite place to be is up high and can get to levels you wouldn’t think would be possible for a little lady so young. Her foster carers swear she could climb before she could walk properly 😹
Some things you simply MUST know about Helena are that she takes her duties as a Princess VERY seriously- she always:
🐾Ensures the food being served is top tier,
🐾 Performs regular checks of the house- (high or low there will be no surprises on her watch),
🐾 and above all, there are always toys, cuddles & kisses available upon request!
Helena is very social with the other felines in the house and as such is advised to go to a home with another social cat that she can bond with. Her sister Alice is also currently available for adoption, so if you’re interested in adopting a pair, these two are a notable choice! Helena has not been exposed to young children and therefore is recommended to go to a family with cat savvy kids over 10years of age. She has not been tested with dogs but due to her confidence and with lots of positive experiences, she is likely to adjust well to a family with a feline friendly dog.

Adoption details
By adopting an animal from a rescue group or shelter you are giving a homeless animal a second chance at happiness. Thank you for considering adoption.
Our Adoption Process:
* Follow the relevant link in each animal's profile to complete the application form. Include as much information as possible so we can get an accurate picture of the life you are offering the pet.
* If your application is approved, we will email you to arrange a meet and greet.
* If the Meet and Greet is a success you will be invited to move forward with the adoption and complete the relevant paperwork.
* We offer a trial period to ensure it's a perfect match. If the animal is returned during this time, you will receive a refund subject to the terms and conditions on the Adoption Agreement signed at the time of adoption.
* Outside of the trial period we remain committed to your pet throughout its life. If your circumstances change and you need to return your pet, we will always take it back, regardless of how much time has passed.
Before completing the application form please be aware of the following:
** We are located in Bendigo, Central Victoria (approx. 2 hours from Melbourne CBD)
** If you are unable to adopt within one week of your submitting the application form please do not apply until you are ready.
** The majority of our correspondence is through email. As a small team of volunteers we simply don't have the resources to man a phone. If you fail to reply to an email or message within 24 hours we will move on to the next applicant-check your "spam/junk folder" regularly.
