Dixie is a charming miniature dachshund with a big heart in a small package.

She has a spirited personality and enjoys her independence but also thrives on companionship and feeling safe in her environment. With the right home, this confident little lady will bring charm, character, and plenty of entertainment to her new family.

About Dixie:

- Small breed - perfect for cozy cuddles and compact living spaces.
- Needs secure fencing, especially at the bottom
- Can be timid at first, but once she settles, her sweet personality shines through.
- Open to meeting children of all ages - she just needs a gentle introduction.
- Must have indoor/outdoor access so she can enjoy both comfort and fresh air.

Special Note:
- Dixie needs to go home with her friend Chuck, she will showing signs of distress being apart. They need to be in a home together to keep their bond strong.
- She's still learning to walk on lead, so ongoing leash training will be needed.
- Must meet all family members, including any children or doggie friends, at the time of the meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along.
