About Phoebe
Meet Phoebe! This gorgeous 11-month-old girl is a sweet, sensitive soul who missed out on early socialisation and is now looking for an experienced home to help her blossom. She can be shy and unsure with new people and dogs, but she's food-motivated, playful with her squeaky ball and full of potential for the right adopter.
Phoebe is a high-energy working-breed youngster who'll need calm guidance, positive training and slow, confidence-building exposure to the world. She gives mixed signals with other dogs, so ongoing socialisation with a professional force-free trainer will be essential. She may be okay to go to a home with a stable adult canine companion with careful management, pending a meet and greet, though she'd love a secure yard and a predictable routine either way.
Phoebe is best for adults or dog-savvy teens with shepherd or working-dog experience - someone patient, committed and ready to help a timid but bright girl grow into her best self. If you love a shepherd and want to make a truly meaningful difference, Phoebe is waiting for you.
