Meet Scout! 🌲🐾

Scout is the definition of a heart-melter — super affectionate and absolutely adoring of everyone he meets, whether that’s people, dogs, cats, or even horses! He’s a playful little guy who loves his toys and will happily join in with anyone who’s ready for a game. With his goofy charm and lovable nature, it’s impossible not to fall for him. Despite a tough start to life, Scout stays cheerful, gentle, and incredibly easygoing. 🩷

This boy would suit a wide range of homes. He’s just as happy out on a walk as he is curled up for couch cuddles, and while he’s fine spending the workday on his own, he absolutely thrives when he’s included in family life. He adores kids, though he’s still learning to keep all four paws on the ground, and he’s both crate trained and mostly toilet trained — with the rest of his progress currently limited by his post-surgery rest. Scout is food motivated, loves training sessions, enjoys other dogs, and is showing promising behaviour around cats, though all interactions are controlled for now due to his crate rest. He truly is the perfect all-round boy and will make a wonderful companion for so many types of homes! 💙🐾

MEDICAL NOTES:
Scout is recovering beautifully from surgery for a broken leg and is absolutely smashing his healing milestones! He remains on strict crate rest and short, leashed walks for another 3–5 weeks, with full recovery expected by 8 weeks post-op. His future family will need to continue his care to give him the best chance at a perfect recovery. 🐾
