✨ Meet Cruiser ✨
Cruiser is a no fuss dog, he is pretty much happy to be on his own, if there are other dogs, playing with them if ok but only when he wants to. He’s young at heart, plenty of energy, and not really a snuggler unless he comes to you and asks for some attention.

💙 Personality
Cruiser is an independent boy who prefers to keep to himself, making him a great fit for a home where he can be the only dog. Cruiser is happy to play with other dogs, he loves to play fetch with anyone and everyone and would prefer a home where he has no pressure or forced socialisation. He’s easygoing, gentle, and enjoys simply being near his people without needing constant attention.
He loves to hang out in the garden while sunning himself in all of the spots that catch the perfect amount of dappled shade.

🍖 Training & Behaviour
Very food motivated — treats are definitely the way to his heart. Recall is always a big question but with the right yummies on offer, he is back in a flash.

He can be a little nervous at the vet or during grooming, so a patient, calm, and gentle approach is important.

When travelling in a car, he needs to be secured in a covered crate or ute dog box, as his natural herding instincts can kick in, which may result in vocal behaviour. Cruiser is better situated with a family who can exercise him without the need to travel every single day. One of his favourite places to be is running along the beach.

Cruiser has plenty of energy and would love regular walks, fun activities, and mental enrichment to keep him happy. He is a delightful happy boy who just wants a home where he can be himself, he is quite the happy chappy in his own secure world.

🏡 Cruiser’s Perfect Home
Cruiser is looking for a peaceful home where he can enjoy his days in comfort. He has previously lived with children and done well; however, a home with older children who understand how to respect a dog’s space and boundaries would be best. A family who will give him love, understanding, and a safe place to settle in would mean the world to him. He’d especially thrive with someone who appreciates his independent nature and lets him move at his own pace.
