Frankie

If your heart is easily stolen by big, goofy bulldogs, then Frankie is ready to waddle straight in and claim it as her own.

Frankie is an exuberant, playful bulldog who firmly believes she is a lap dog... despite her very obvious not-lap-dog size. She lives for cuddles, adores human attention, and just wants someone who will dote on her and let her embrace her true calling in life: being a lovable, dorky bulldog.

True to her breed, Frankie is generous with her affection and her slobber. She may occasionally leave a trail of drool on your clothes, but that's simply part of the bulldog experience - and honestly, you'll stop noticing after a while (promise).

While there may not be a huge amount of space between her ears, Frankie makes up for it with her sweet nature and reasonably good manners. She's affectionate, gentle, and eager to please... even if she sometimes needs a little extra guidance (and patience).

Frankie would suit a home with a single person, couple, or family with older children who can appreciate her size and enthusiasm. She hasn't met cats while in our care, but with slow, controlled introductions, she may learn that cats don't always appreciate bulldog kisses.

Around other dogs, Frankie can be a bit reactive in the kennel environment - after all, there's not much else for a bulldog girl to do to pass the time! However, she enjoys social walks with some of the other dogs in care and may be able to live with another dog following a successful meet and greet.
