Max is my name but I'm very quiet and sneaky that you won't have to call me as I'm right behind you, unless I'm doing my zoomies and playing with my teddy.
Im still only a baby going into the terrible teen years😂
I was found at a pound where my foster mum hinted to the rescue to get me out. I wasn't house trained, but I learnt quickly to not do my business inside with my foster mum and foster sister teaching me. I'm very excited meeting people and other dogs; my foster sister is 5 so it took a bit for her to put up with my zoomies and sharing her toys. I've been taught to sit, give my paw each side and wait for my dinner. I do sometimes still try sneak closer but I'm getting better. I've had no basic training on lead, but I like to stay close to my foster family as its scary out there.... unless I see birds then i want to run after them. I need someone who would love to go to obedience training with me so we can both learn. I got to go to a Christmas one and was so excited with all the doggies there I even got to have a little play with a cutie golden retriever girl.
I'm learning to play with teddies and slowly learning to play with balls. I even got taken to a place where i got in a big bath with my foster sister, well she wouldn't get out, so i had a wash and dry with her. Its was scary but the lady and foster mum went slow and i survived.
Have you got a big bed to share with me? Im a good cuddle bug and like to sneak my head up next to yours or just lay along side of you. My foster mum says im a bed hog. I sometimes do get onto my doggy bed but i love getting pats and snuggling.
My furever home would be best if i can have a sister so she can keep me company if you go out and help teach me the do's and don'ts.... I may sometimes do the don'ts... I can sometimes bring your shoe to you or have it outside ready for you.
I have plenty of energy and love walks, especially having my zoomies. I have a prancing style trot like a golden retriever but i have the bounce like a boxer!
