About Grinch
Meet Grinch, a delightful cat with a heart as big as his name is ironic. Contrary to his name, Grinch does not want to steal Christmas or any festive joy – in fact, he's here to add to it with his sweet and affectionate nature. Initially, he might come across as shy, but give him the time to get to know you, and he'll soon become your best friend and loyal companion.
Grinch thrives in the company of other cats, as having a feline friend boosts his confidence and brings out his best features. From engaging in spirited playtime with feather toys to relishing a chin scratch, Grinch knows how to enjoy life's simple pleasures. His love for treats is legendary, and sharing them with him will be a bonding experience like no other.
In his ideal home, Grinch would have the company of another cat to keep him grounded. His heartwarming personality and companionship are bound to bring love and comfort to his new family. If you have a nurturing environment with just the right sprinkling of treats, Grinch is waiting to become the sweet addition to your life that you've been looking for.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
