About Haven
Haven is a sweet girl, she has a bit of a derby side, shown in her facial expressions and the funny positions she lays in. She is fully grown, house trained, crate trained and respectful indoors.
She is definitely an inside girl and likes to be included and hang out near her humans. She is okay hanging at home with another doggo for company if you're busy with work etc. When playing with toys she likes to claim a toy for herself and not share.
She has had corrective surgery to both hips for hip dysplasia and has been given the all clear by our vet to live a full life.
She enjoys going for walks and meeting other dogs, she isn't confident around busy situations or people she hasn't met before, men more so than others and can start to lead pull. She is working on that with her foster Mum and is making progress.
She is great around cats and children, loves the 4-year-old that visits her foster Mum. She is quite self-contained and will take her time, so needs to go at her pace when meeting new people. Once she's met the new people and is comfortable, she loves belly rubs and cuddles.
Haven is looking for a furever home that has a chill, relaxed and inclusive lifestyle, welcomes her indoors, spoils her with belly rubs and cuddles. Will encourage her to go past her comfort zone with firm patience and possibly have another doggo to be her new fur sibling.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your days with warmth and love, Haven is waiting to meet you!
If you have any further questions and would like to meet Haven their foster human is available to chat about her. To ensure a reply to enquiries about adoption please tell us a little about yourself and your location. Interstate adoption is available with transportation at adopter's expense. If you are renting your home, please ensure you have approval for a pet before submitting your application.
