Maradona will need to begin in a small launch room and be given time to settle before exploring the rest of the home, as large open spaces can easily overwhelm him. His new environment should include plenty of cat-friendly options-scratch posts, cat trees, cardboard boxes, igloos, and access to shelves or dressers-to provide safe spaces both high and low throughout the house.
A patient and understanding adopter is essential, as Maradona will be timid when first arriving and may take some time before showing his true, affectionate nature. Teens or older children who can read basic cat body language and know when to give him space are recommended.
Once comfortable, Maradona becomes a sweet, loyal companion who likes to follow his person around and happily seeks out cuddles. With calm guidance and a secure environment, he will flourish into a loving and devoted household member.
