Meet Aslan, a confident, cheeky, affectionate ginger boy who has been with us since he was only a few weeks old. Aslan came into care with his mum and siblings as tiny bubs, grew up safe and loved in our rescue, and was eventually adopted… only to be heartbreakingly dumped at the pound less than a week later through absolutely no fault of his own.

This boy has already lived through more upheaval than any kitten should, yet he remains gentle, trusting and full of personality. He deserves a home that will love him properly this time — forever.

🧡 Full of energy, character and charm

Aslan is a classic ginger kitten: bold, playful, curious and full of confidence. He loves his zoomies, pouncing on toys, wrestling with his foster siblings and exploring every corner of his environment. Once he’s burnt off his kitten energy, he becomes a sweet little cuddlebug who flops into your arms and purrs like a motor.

He’s interactive, social and thrives when he has a feline friend to play with — he genuinely lights up around other cats.

💛 He absolutely must have another cat

Because Aslan depends on feline companionship for social, emotional and behavioural development, he must go to a home with:

• A young, playful resident cat
or
• Be adopted with another kitten

Solo life is not suitable for him. He needs a buddy to wrestle with, snuggle with, learn from and grow up alongside.

💔 His heartbreaking journey

Aslan was lovingly raised in our care from a few weeks old. He was adopted, and we truly thought his forever had begun. Within a week, he was abandoned at the pound, scared, confused, and wondering where he went wrong.
He did nothing wrong.
Some people simply don’t understand the responsibility and commitment required for kittens — but that’s not Aslan’s fault.
Since returning to us, he’s bounced back beautifully. He’s resilient, loving and ready to try again with the right family who sees his worth.
