Spring Roll

Hi, my name is Rollie, well, technically my full name is Spring Roll, but I much prefer Rollie. I’ve been in foster care for over 250 days without a single meet and greet, and it’s starting to make me feel sad sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, my foster mum is amazing, but I’d love to finally be in a home where I know this is my forever family.

I don’t understand why no one wants to meet me. I’m loving, cuddly, and pretty smart. I’ve learned hand signals and picked up lots of fun tricks. I’m both house-trained and toilet-trained, and I absolutely love cuddle time. I’m just confused about why no one wants to adopt me.

I’m pretty sure I’m a lap dog, so expect to get squished during snuggle time. But that can’t be why no one wants to meet me, who doesn’t love cuddles? I'm pretty cute, did you see my stunning coat and adorable face? That can't be the reason.

Maybe it’s because I’m like a lot of teenage girls, a bit of a diva sometimes, never afraid to let you exactly what I want. But that still beats dealing with those awful puppy stages you have to go through with a little puppy so that can't be the reason.

I can get a little anxious if I’m left alone for too long, but I’m sure there’s a family out there who’s home more often than not and happy to spend lots of time with me, as nothing makes me happier than being by your side. And really, that can’t be a bad thing, after all, everyone loves to feel loved and wanted, right?

I’m a sweet girl with a big heart, loving those quiet moments to relax and sneak in a few cuddles. I’m a total cuddle bug, never missing the chance to curl up in your lap for some snuggles. And when I’m happy and excited, I have the most adorable habit of spinning in circles—it’s so much fun and always makes everyone laugh watching me twirl round and round.

Here’s a little secret: I’ve picked up some pretty impressive skills. I can jump through a hoop, and I’ve got a few other hidden talents, but you’ll have to meet me to find out the rest, I can’t reveal everything. Alright, one more hint: I’m learning to dance, and I’ve already nailed a few steps. Oh, I also know hand signals, that is pretty cool.

The most important thing to know about me is that I absolutely love the water, I'm a total water girl. A doggy pool is a must, and having a pool at home would have me spinning round and round with excitement. Or maybe even a trip to the beach would be just as fun for a day out together.

I am incredibly smart and know my commands. I understand that ‘ahh ahh’ means no, which is an important one to remember. I can get a little jumpy when I’m excited, but with a gentle reminder to keep my paws down, I’ll remember.

I am dog friendly, but being a tiny bit of a diva, I can be selective about who I socialise with, so please take it slow when introducing me to potential doggy friends.
