Meet Bear, a big-hearted American Staffordshire Terrier who is searching for a loving new place to call home. After his previous owners were no longer able to care for him, Bear is now ready for a fresh start and a brighter future.

Bear is a big, goofy sweetheart who has spent a lot of time outdoors in his previous home. Because of this, he would absolutely thrive in a home with a secure backyard where he can potter around, sunbake, and stretch his legs.

He would be best suited to a moderately active home where he can enjoy daily walks, fun enrichment, and of course plenty of quality time with his people. Bear loves a gentle game of tug and is happiest when he’s included as part of the family.

Bear can get excited at times and may jump up when saying hello, so he would be best suited to a home with dog-savvy children aged 10+.

While Bear isn’t overly interested in playing with other dogs, he is happy to meet them out on walks. Bear would be best suited as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love for himself.

Bear is ready for his next chapter with someone who can offer him structure, companionship, and the comfort he truly deserves.
