About Steele
Local home only
Meet Steele, a charming and confident cat with a heart as big as his personality. Steele is a well-rounded feline who not only adores making new feline friends but also loves spending quality time with his human companions. His independence is balanced beautifully with his affectionate nature; whether he's with a family that works from home or has other pets, Steele easily finds his place. With a special love for both people and animals, he's the perfect addition to any household that will provide him with a warm and loving environment.
Steele is a curious soul who thrives on interaction and play. His favourite pastime involves dashing through tunnels and chasing small balls, offering endless entertainment for anyone willing to join in on the fun. He is adept at finding cozy nooks for a nap after playtime, and he sometimes shares these spaces with his foster sisters. With his calm and inquisitive demeanor, Steele makes a fantastic playmate for children and would adjust well to living with them.
This easygoing cat is open to companionship with dogs as well. While starting with a gradual introduction is recommended, Steele has already shown interest and curiosity toward dogs, making him quite adaptable. When it comes to kids, he would fit in seamlessly, as his calm approach to the world allows him to interact comfortably with people of all ages.
Currently, Steele enjoys exploring the great outdoors through the safety of an enclosed space, where he can indulge his bug-chasing and stalking hobbies. He eats both kitten-specific wet and dry food and is treat-motivated, enjoying shredded chicken or tuna from time to time. Steele is fully litter trained, using clumping litter since he was just three weeks old.
Whether you have a bustling family or a more peaceful home, Steele is ready to bring joy, affection, and warmth into your life. With his joyful spirit and friendly disposition, he’s certain to become a cherished member of any family that decides to welcome him.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
