Lonsdale is an out-going, happy, cuddly boy who is seeking a forever home where he can greet you with the biggest smile, wiggle bum and tail wag.

Lonsdale, in typical kelpie style spends most of his day doing zoomies, playing with toys and getting into mischief – yes, watch out for your shoes. When he hasn't got the silly's, he will happily snuggle into his carers for a snooze, with a side of snoring. Lonsdale will need a home who understands the energetic dog traits to keep his little brain stimulated.

Lonsdale is extremely people orientated. He loves to spend time with them inside, following them around the house and giving cuddles. This means Lonsdale's ideal home would be where people are home more often than not. Lonsdale also adores his doggy playmates. He loves chasing them and closely snuggling into them. Therefore a bonus if his future home includes a resident friend. Lonsdale's current foster home also has 20 cats, so yes he is very cat savvy!

Lonsdale knows how to sit on command, especially around food time. He is also learning 'middle'. Lonsdale is nearly toilet trained but will require a dedicated family to continue his house training and obedience. He is extremely smart, therefore this will be super fun with him! Lonsdale is currently in his teething stage. Although he is learning to re-direct, he needs a family who isn't deterred by this. He currently sleeps in his crate overnight, although would much rather be in bed with you.
