Blue Eyed Gizmo (On Trial)

Gizmo went on trial on 17/7. Pls consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly barkley, snowy, & hughie. Gizmo is a gentle 2 yo, purebred shih tzu with striking blue eyes. He is great with small dogs and children. He is a gorgeous, loving little guy, who loves cuddles, sitting on your lap and loves to bury his head and play hide and seek under the covers!. . . He is a very quiet dog, you wouldn’t know he was there half the time. He loves to play with our children, chase them around and is absolutely adorable. Just looking at his sweet little face makes you smile. His eyes are a very beautiful pale blue colour which is extremely rare. He turns heads everywhere he goes. Shih tzus are low shedding dogs so gizmo will need regular brushing, bathing and clipping. . . Gizmo is fine walking on a lead, and always has a happy wagging tail, plus he makes the cutest little noises when trying to jump on a bed or scratch his head. He does not know commands as yet, but will come when his name is called and is house trained and a pleasure to have in our home! he may be a small dog, but his personality and gentle soul make him larger than life. He loves to play outside and lay in the sun, or come inside snuggled up in bed. Gizmo is slightly scared of my larger dogs, but i’m sure the more he gets used to them, the less scared he will be. He is also a bit wary of cats. Sometimes he will playfully chase them and other times, he will do a quiet growl, but is not aggressive about it, just unsure!. . . Gizmo would be suited to someone who would be there most of the time, or who at least had another playful dog to keep him company, so he doesn’t get lonely. Gizmo will make a pleasant and loyal addition to any person or family! he is a sweet heart!. . . Dog rescue newcastle www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation.
