About Marshmallow ~ Netherland Dwarf bunny rabbit
Meet “Marshmallow”, or “Mallow” as she is known to her friends! With her snowy white coat and the most adorable little black “moustache,” Mallow is as cute as they come. But it’s her cheeky, expressive personality that makes her truly unforgettable. Whether she’s zooming around the house or playing with her toys, Mallow brings fun wherever she goes.
This curious girl loves to explore, sniff, and investigate every corner of her foster home. Zooming around on the carpet or grazing outside on the grass are some of her favourite pastimes. When she feels comfortable, she will show you just how affectionate she is and will even hop up onto the lounge for snuggles. Mallow loves her treats, with capsicum, blueberries and grapes some of her favourites!
Mallow had a rough start to life and was found abandoned in a park. This means she is still building her confidence and trust and will need someone who can give her space and isn’t going to rush her. Because of this she can sometimes get startled. She has picked up litter training, but still leaves a few stray droppings around the house, so continuing her toilet training will be helpful. She has become an indoor bunny, and she prefers soft, carpeted spaces and loves sneaking under beds for naps. She has her own cozy enclosure where she sleeps comfortably at night, although she is very good at finding tiny spaces to hide and sleep through the day.
Mallow’s ideal home will be a calm, loving home where she can live indoors with her humans, but also enjoy daily time outside in a safe, secure and spacious area. She would thrive in a home where she is included in the family and would be best suited to children aged 8+ who can understand her boundaries and will let her approach them at her own pace.
If you’re looking for a spirited, intelligent, and irresistibly charming bunny to share your days, Mallow might just be your perfect match!
Mallow is currently in foster care in Adamstown Heights, NSW (Newcastle). Her adoption fee is $150 which helps cover her vaccination.
