About Lars
Meet Lars — the brave little lap baby who leads with his heart.
Lars is one of those kittens who immediately stands out, not because he’s the loudest or the wildest, but because he radiates sweetness from the moment you meet him. He is, without question, the biggest lap baby of his entire litter. If you sit down for even a second, Lars will appear out of nowhere, climb straight into your lap, and settle in like it’s exactly where he belongs.
His affectionate nature is matched only by his curiosity. Lars approaches the world with confidence and excitement, always eager to explore something new. While his siblings are still deciding whether something is safe, Lars has already marched right up to it, inspected it thoroughly, and then turned back to you as if to say, “See? Easy.” He’s brave, bold, and wonderfully sure of himself — but never in a way that overshadows his gentle, cuddly nature.
One of Lars’ most charming traits is how devoted he is to his humans. He’s always the first to run up to greet you, tail high and eyes bright, as though welcoming you home every single time. If you kneel down, he’ll climb into your arms without hesitation; if you sit, he’ll curl up on your lap; if you move, he’ll happily follow just to stay close.
With his mix of courage, affection, and playful spirit, Lars is the kind of kitten who becomes the heart of the household. He’s looking for a family who will adore his cuddly nature, encourage his curiosity, and let him grow into the confident, loving companion he’s meant to be.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.
We appreciate your understanding.

Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
Thank you for helping us give these kittens the loving, social homes they deserve!
