About Coco 🥥
🐾✨ Meet Coco🐾✨
◾Name of Cat: Coco

◾Gender: Female
◾Date of Birth: 11/03/2024
◾Colour: Calico
◾Microchip Number: 991003003084415

Coco had a tough beginning in life — she was just a kitten when she had babies of her own, and sadly lost all but one. Despite her rough start, this sweet girl is slowly blossoming in care. She’s becoming a curious, playful little soul, taking small, brave steps toward trusting humans again.
Coco enjoys gentle pats and quiet companionship, but she isn’t comfortable being picked up just yet. With patience, kindness, and a calm environment, she’ll continue to come out of her shell at her own pace.
She would thrive in a peaceful home (preferably without very young children, as she frightens easily) and she’s been getting along well with the other cats in care.
If you’re looking for a gentle, sensitive kitty to nurture into confidence and love, Coco is waiting for her soft landing.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
