About Kirk
🐾 Meet Kirk — a gentle, snuggly Jack Russell who just wants someone to love. 🐾
Kirk is a sweet-natured little guy with a soft heart. He can be shy at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate side shines through.
He loves being cuddled, handled gently, and “babied up” by the dog-loving children in his foster home — and he’s slowly gaining confidence every day.
He adores kids, gets along beautifully with small dogs (especially his little female Jack Russell foster sister), and is calmly curious around cats. With a bit of guidance — and the occasional firm cat paw reminder — he’ll fit in well with feline families too.
Big dogs currently overwhelm him, so a home without them (or a patient and gentle introduction) would be needed.
Kirk enjoys a mix of indoor comfort and outside stimulation. He prances around the yard, takes in all the interesting sights, and keeps an adoring eye on whatever you're doing.
He sits politely for meals, is learning his toilet training quickly, and settles happily in his crate at night.
He’s not overly playful - but it’s early days for this little pound puppy. However, he’s incredibly loving and eager to bond.
With a patient, nurturing family, Kirk will continue to blossom into the confident little companion he’s meant to be.
❤️ If you’re looking for a gentle cuddle buddy who just wants to be cherished, Kirk is your boy.
