Basil is a very friendly, relaxed, and calm little man who adores the simple life. He’s house trained, has lovely manners, and is not a barker, making him an ideal companion for a quiet home or someone wanting an easygoing buddy by their side.
He requires regular grooming to keep his coat tidy and comfortable. Basil can have mild reactions to certain garden weeds, and his eyes need regular cleaning as they can get a bit gunky—his former owner would wipe them daily and full details will be given to the new owner. Otherwise Basil has a clean bill of health.
Basil is ready to bring warmth, companionship, and gentle affection to his new home. If you’re looking for a sweet little friend, Basil may be the perfect match. He gets along with everyone and is fine with respectiful children, though his former owners agree that the retired life, where he spends his mornings snoozing on the bed and watching cheezy daytime TV, would likely suit Basil the best.
He also enjoys lounging outside in the cool breeze and spent a lot of his time on the porch of his former home, watching the world go by.

Recurring weepy eye, artificial tears given as needed.
Mild allergy to a common weed in the garden, Malaseb bath given if itchiness begins.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption fee) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
