About Freya
❤️ Freya in a nutshell: small in size, huge in heart, and ready to shine. ❤️
Meet Freya — born 28 August 2025 — a bright, bold, and utterly irresistible dachshund-mix pup who turns every walk into an adventure!
Quick-witted and wonderfully inquisitive, Freya learns at lightning speed. She loves engaging her mind just as much as stretching her legs, and she’s always tuned in — trotting neatly by your side or exploring nearby with confidence and focus.
She has already won the heart of her foster dad. Every night, you’ll find her curled up on his lap, happily watching his favourite TV programs — the very definition of a loyal little companion.
With her intelligence, affectionate nature, and eager-to-please attitude, Freya has tremendous potential. She’s the perfect match for someone wanting a loyal friend and a fast learner all wrapped up in one adorable package.
She’s house-trained, crate-trained, walks naturally at heel and travels nicely in the car.
Freya’s ideal home is one where she has human company most of the time — she’s a true companion dog and people are her favourite species.
She’ll need secure fencing to keep her safe, is great with other dogs, has had positive exposure to chooks, and has a mutually respectful relationship with Klaus, the resident Siberian Forest Cat, to the extent that they are happy to sit together inside.
