About Tigg (14yrs) & Diesel (9yrs)
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
This loveable, bonded duo are ready for their next big adventure!
Tigg and Diesel came into care a few months ago when their lives were unfortunately turned upside down. Since being in care, Tigg and Diesel have won over the hearts of everyone in the household and are incredible companions, not only to each other but to their humans.
Tigg and Diesel enjoy wandering around the house, laying in the sun watching the birds out the door, Diesel loves to sit on the windowsill and admire his kingdom and Tigg likes to play flop and roll around on the floor with her favorite toy, a feather. Diesel does like to join in on the feather fun, but he would rather sit on the couch with you getting cuddles and baking batches of biscuits.
Both Tigg and Diesel have had a major dental done. Diesel had a few teeth removed and a clean however, Tigg had to have ALL her teeth removed due to a condition called stomatitis. This means that Tigg needs a good serving of soft food morning and night.
My Ideal Home:
• Both Tigg and Diesel are people pleasers and love nothing more than being included on the happenings inside the house. So being able to go about their business inside the house is extremely important!
• Suitable for full-time workers - Tigg and Diesel are happy to plot around throughout the day, keeping each other entertained.
• Not suitable for a home with large breed, or boisterous dogs
• Suitable for home with children - Tigg and Diesel would be ok with confident children.
What is Known About My Background:
Poor Tigg and Diesel have had a rough last 12 months. They both lost their human father due to illness just before their human mum had to leave the only home they've ever known due to foreclosure. Mum looked everywhere for somewhere for them all to go however with the current rental climate, their mother was unsuccessful. Their mother reached out to Hunter Animal Rescue who in turn were able to offer assistance and find somewhere safe for them to go.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
• Dogs - Neither Tigg or Diesel are fans of big, boisterous dogs - Diesel has alot more confidence when it comes to dogs but Tigg would just rather... not.
• Cats - Diesel doesnt mind other cats, Tigg is not a big fan especially females. In their previous home, Diesel was daddy to all the foster kittens.
• Children - So long as children arnt chasing them around
• Pocket pets (birds, rabbits etc) - Not suited

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
