Meet Peach, a stunningly gentle 2-year-old cat whose sweetness is as soft as her name suggests. Peach arrived at the rescue under stressful circumstances, protecting her newborn kittens, but through it all, she has proven to be the most devoted and affectionate soul. Now that her motherly duties are complete, this deserving girl is ready to be spoiled with the love and stability she has earned.
💖 Her Personality and Needs
Peach is the ultimate companion for someone who loves expressive, gentle affection.
-Adoration for People: Peach adores people and makes it known immediately! She will gracefully come to greet you with great enthusiasm, asking for continuous head rubs.
-Intimate Affection: Her favourite way to show love is by getting close. If you are lying down, Peach will gently climb up to nuzzle into your hair or softly bump against your face. She is truly devoted and will love you completely.
-Sweet and Gentle: She is renowned for her incredibly gentle nature, making every interaction a soothing experience.
-Affection on Her Terms: Peach will curl up right next to you on the couch or bed, but she is not ready to be a lap cat just yet, and she does not like to be picked up. She needs a home that respects her boundaries while appreciating her unique ways of showing love.

Peach is looking for a loving, focused environment where she can thrive as a cherished companion.
-Loving Adult Home: She would be best suited to a quiet, loving adult home where she can receive (and give!) lots of undivided attention.
-Flexible Company: Peach would be perfectly happy as an only cat, soaking up all the attention for herself. Alternatively, she can be adopted with one of her beautiful kittens if you are looking for a pair.
-Focus on Comfort: Her ideal family understands that true affection comes from gentle interactions and shared space, rather than being held.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
The rescue group is no longer taking adoption applications for this pet.
