Apple

I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Little apple is as sweet as apple pie according to her foster carer. She came from the pound needing to be completely shaved due to a severely matted coat but , despite her ordeal, apple has settled quickly and confidently into her foster home. Apple had typical flu symptoms when she came from the pound but a short run of antibiotics have seen her become more energetic as the days go by. She is quite underweight at the moment so her foster parents are ensuring lots of little treats when she has been good (which is all the time!). Apple is great with her new friends. . . A small dog and a very relaxed cat. Apple is particularly good with the cat and they have curled up together every chance they get. Apple is fantastic on leash but is still learning the basic commands of 'sit', 'stay' etc. She is also very good with her toileting and always wait’s politely by the back door to be let out and has already learnt to hold it over night! apple is a little unsure of how to play at the moment but with time, and a family who will actively interact with her to help her understand what fun is, she will soon learn that there is fun to be had. Apple is definitely a lap dog as no lap is left uncovered for very long when apple is around! apple is an indoor dog who must have access to the home via a doggy door or similar and she would love a small companion to play with if her family are at work during the day. She will have a high maintenance coat that requires regular clipping and grooming to keep it knot free. All in all, apple is such a sweet dog whowould suit most households and is going to make her forever family very happy. Apple comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on apple or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
