Nature
When Aurora is around, she will not allow you to do anything with your hands except touch her and give her attention. Chin scritches? Please! Ear rubs? Oh yes! Down the back? Keep going! Belly rubs? Only if you’re brave!

Aurora makes petting an Olympic sport since she rarely wants to sit still. She’s a busy lady but wants nothing more than to be near you at all times. If she is caught off guard, she may give a quick, non-aggressive hiss that serves as her immediate boundary signal.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Aurora is currently living in a foster home with other adult cats. For the most part, she is unbothered by their presence, however is often triggered by negative interactions. She would be best suited to a home without other cats, however, you may have success slowly introducing her to a confident kitty who has a previous track record of friendly interactions with new cats.

Despite loving human attention, Aurora can sometimes become overstimulated and may offer you some gentle love bites. Due to this behaviour, we do not recommend a home with young children or the elderly.

Likes / Dislikes
Aurora does not like being ignored and will pace across your lap and nudge your hand until you give in and provide the attention she craves.

She likes to snuggle on your lap or hang out atop her favourite cat tower when you’re not around.

Aurora is not a fan of strangers and will take some time to warm up to them.

My PURR-fect home would be with someone ready to embrace me as their singular, active, and highly demanding companion.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Aurora please come and meet her at Better Pets & Gardens Midland this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
