About Glenda
Meet Glenn & Glenda - Two Big Hearts Ready for Their Forever Homes!
Glenn and Glenda are approximately 2-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mixes who came to us as strays. Sadly, no one came forward for them, but that just means they're ready to start a new chapter-with you!
Whether adopted together or separately, these two will bring joy, loyalty, and plenty of fun to the right home.
About Glenn & Glenda
Both dog-social, affectionate, and playful, they've got the basics of training down pat but still love a bit of silliness and fun!
Their Ideal Home would be with another dog (especially if adopting just one)
Families with kids aged 10+ who are confident around larger dogs
Big, goofy puppies at heart who will keep you smiling every day
Glenn and Glenda are the perfect mix of brains and brawn. They're social butterflies with other dogs and thrive in homes where they can play and bond. They're eager to learn and love being part of family life.
Ridgebacks are loyal, intelligent, and affectionate with their families. They're known for being protective yet gentle, making them excellent companions for active households.
They will love being exercised and receiving mental stimulation-perfect for families who enjoy outdoor adventures.
Personality Traits: Courageous, devoted, and playful. They bond deeply with their people and thrive on companionship.
Special Adoption Note
While we would love to keep this pair together, we understand that may not be possible and will happily split the duo. However, if you're in a position to welcome both into your family, BARC will assist and can approve a bonded pair adoption fee. Please speak with our staff for more information.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
