About Mami
Meet Mami, a sweet and quirky Queen who is finally ready for her happily ever after. Mami came into care as a young mum and raised her beautiful litter with so much love. Now that her babies are grown it is her time to shine and enjoy all the affection she deserves.
Mami is a curious, playful and confident girl who loves pats and will even stand up on her back legs for a little head bump. She is not a lap cat, but she will happily follow you around the house like your biggest fan. One of the most charming things about Mami is her incredibly unique way of sitting. Instead of loafing like every other cat she has invented her own style, and we promise you will not find another cat who sits the way she does!
Mami loves chasing toys and ribbons, sleeping near your feet and making biscuits, late night kitten zoomies, meeting new human friends of all genders equally and exploring wardrobes where she often accidentally traps herself.
She would suit a home with humans who are home often as she does not enjoy being alone for too long.
Mami is sweet, confident, funny and full of charm. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind companion with a truly one of a kind sitting style, then Mami is your girl.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
