About Callie
Meet Callie!
Callie is a beautiful 10-year-old who's looking for a calm and loving home to call her own. She's a gentle soul with a timid and reclusive nature at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, Callie shows her affectionate side-on her own terms, of course! When she's ready, she'll happily share smooches and quiet companionship with her favourite people.
Callie would prefer a home where she can be the centre of attention, but she can tolerate other cats if needed. She's the perfect match for someone who appreciates a serene, independent companion and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to settle in. If you're looking for a sweet senior who will reward your patience with love, Callie is waiting for you.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
