About Ace
Ace is an 11-month-old Husky with all the classic Husky features: endless energy, a dramatic flair for expressing his feelings, and enough loose hair to knit yourself an entire winter collection. He's young, enthusiastic, and absolutely ready to take on the world, preferably at full speed.
Ace has found shelter life a bit overwhelming (typical Husky: "I have BIG emotions!"), but he's been working closely with our Behaviour Team to learn his manners, build his skills, and channel that youthful chaos into something more productive than yelling at passing birds. He's even learning how to play with toys and once he realised they weren't a threat, he decided they're actually pretty fun.
He loves food, and treats are the key to his brilliant little brain. With the right guidance and plenty of positive training, he'll absolutely thrive. But make no mistake ... Ace needs a committed, experienced owner who understands the Husky lifestyle:
Daily exercise (and then some)
Ongoing training
A solid enrichment routine
A sense of humour
A vacuum with excellent suction power
He may be able to live with another dog, depending on the match, but he's looking for a home where all humans are over the age of 16 so he can have the calm, consistent environment he needs to keep learning and growing.
Ace also has a medication plan that will need to be followed, no shortcuts. He's the type of dog who will give you his whole goofy, dramatic, affectionate heart, but he really does need someone willing to invest the time, structure, and consistency he's been missing.
If you're Husky-savvy, chaos-capable, and ready to welcome a big personality into your home, Ace is waiting to meet you. He'll keep you active, keep you laughing, and probably keep you sweeping but he's worth every fluffy, noisy moment.
