Matilda is a beautiful and sweet-natured girl who strikes the perfect balance between affection and independence. She loves a cuddle on the couch or curling up beside you on the bed at night, but she’s just as content relaxing on her own and enjoying her quiet time.

She was well loved by her previous owners but sadly they found themselves in a position where they could no longer care for her, so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find her a new home.

She comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.

Matilda has a calm, gentle personality and gets along wonderfully with dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household. Matilda warms up quickly to people and will happily accept pats and companionship, but she never demands constant attention. She’s the ideal companion for someone who appreciates a loving yet independent feline friend.

She gets on well with young kids and has decided the youngster in her foster home is her new best friend.

With her sweet and gentle nature we could see this beautiful little lady fitting into almost any household.

Matilda is approximately 2 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
