Introducing our gorgeous, sweet girl Sasquatch.

Sasquatch is an affectionate, loveable, playful pup who is full of beans and is also a cuddle pie. She has soulful eyes, a tail that never stops wagging and is delighted to see us morning, noon and night. She’s adventurous, loves to explore our backyard, gets along with everyone, both humans and dogs. One of her favourite things to do is play and socialise with other dogs.

She is in care with a nearly 3-year-old great dane/x staffy boy and they love each other’s company. She will bark at him telling him, let’s play! She absolutely loves her daily walks and enjoys meeting other dogs along the way. Like most puppies, she’s a big fan of chewing sticks and dog toys, so her new home will need to have plenty of these to keep her happy and entertained. She is toilet trained, we haven’t had an accident inside since fostering her, she stands at the back door and we’re fully aware she needs go outside. She happily sleeps through the night on her bed in the laundry, no crying or barking at all. She’s completely settled into this routine and seems very comfortable with it. She is happy to sleep on a frame bed outside or on the grass during the day, when her people are out. She’s known for her cheeky, playful nature, often nibbling at our resident dog’s legs to get his attention when she’s feeling bored. She comes inside after dinner to chill out with her foster family and snuggling into her bed along with a tummy rub.

Ideally, Sasquatch’s new home will be one where she is included as part of the family. She is very smart and learns quickly, Sasquatch would prefer to live in a home with another dog for company, as we believe all dogs need a friend. A mentor dog who knows the ropes but loves a playmate would be a perfect match for our girl. She will enjoy a daily walk for exercise and to keep her in touch with the world outside of her backyard, like all puppers do.

She has been learning basic commands; sit, stay, bed, no etc. using her meals or treats to learn, and that training will need to continue with her new people. She’s making great progress, she responds and learns very quickly and her recall is improving every day. With continued training, she’ll keep outperforming beautifully.
