About Vuitton
Vuitton arrived at our facility independently but pretty quickly buddied up with another cat. They were recently returned from a trial adoption together as Vuitton did not settle, hid most of the time and became stressed enough that the two cats had a fight. Since return, they've settled back into familiar environment but are choosing time apart. Given the difficulties Vuitton had, we are hoping to find him a quiet and relaxed home where he can be your only cat and take his time (three weeks+) to get his bearings and find his way. He is going to need some consideration and a great deal of patience - that whole new world thing was a bit of a shock to him! Vuitton is not a bold cat, and he doesn't enjoy being over-handled at all. He is however, friendly and affection once he's confident with a person, and he has many admirers amongst the student cohort.
Medical notes
Following the very stressful adoption event mentioned, Vuitton has occasionally eaten some pieces of his bedding. No medical intervention has been required but he enjoys Zylkene supplements to keep him at his best self. Once well settled into his new home, without the competition of other cats and the stresses of a shelter environment, we would not expect this to be an issue and Zylkene can be removed in time.
