Roxy

Roxy is an 8mth old Staffy mix , she came to us from a local pound when she was around 3mths old and was rehomed with a small older dog - but it seems over time that the older dog in the home isn't enjoying her company and has caused a couple of altercations and rather then the older dog feeling uncomfortable we feel it's better to find her a home with a dog of similar age / breed she can play with or a home as a single dog where she can meet similar sized dogs at the park etc.
Roxy like most Staffies is excited to meet new people and needs to be reminded she needs to sit and not jump on people. She does calm down quickly. She is still a pup so needs to have toys to occupy her so she doesn't become destructive.
Roxy is eager to learn and be trained. Loves treats. Waits for her dinner until she is told to eat.
She does better with daily walks. Pulls a bit on walks but with some reminders she remembers to walk nicely. Sits and waits at roads when told. Again treats are good reminders for her on walks. . We usually get her to sit on the nature strip and just talk to her calmly if our walking and another dog barks at her as she will bark back.

Roxy loves being with her people, and sitting with them either on top of you or as close to you as possible but will also go to her bed if she is told and if she wants some space. She is used to sleeping on her humans bed every night.
She loves to play and loves a tug of war, so would do well with a younger dog and poss one of equal size. She has run around with bigger dogs on the oval and loves a wrestle with them.
Will often walk into the back of your legs with one of her toys to let you know she wants to play or show you her toy.
Roxy has been housed with cats since a pup and that has been no issues both in foster and in the home we are rehoming from.

Roxy comes with toys / bed / collar and lead
